We are excited to announce the addition of the survey-grade Geocue Trueview 540 LiDAR sensor to our toolkit. The TrueView 540 integrates survey-grade high-precision LiDAR, an accurate positioning and orientation system, and a 45mp full-frame industrial camera.

As part of a pilot project Spitfire performed a thermal drone survey of a Fraser Valley Creek to determine the feasibility and accuracy of producing a radiometric orthomosaic to determine water temperatures. 

Battling strong winds, below zero temperatures and hours before a snowstorm descended on the city, we successfully performed the LIDAR/Imaging monitoring night mission safely over trees and under a bridge using night vision and beacons lighting up the drone.

Spitfire is excited to announce that we have upgraded our 3D Imaging System from the TrueView 515 to the new and improved TrueView 535 3D Imaging System.
